The Atlantic Sun's representatives in last season's NCAA Championship each registered in Collegiate Baseball's preseason Top-40 poll.

The Owls advanced to their fourth consecutive regional appearance last year. With only two starters gone from last season, Collegiate Baseball's Fabulous 40 pre-season poll lists the Owls no. 18, while the Rosenblatt Report's pre-season Top-35 poll places FAU at no. 22.

Stetson captured their first A-Sun Tournament crown since 2000 to secure their fifth regional bid in the last six seasons and show up at no. 37. It is Stetson’s sixth consecutive preseason national ranking.

The Atlantic Sun Conference season begins on February 1 when Jacksonville travels to Florida A&M with every team's efforts focues on the conference championship on May 24-27 at Melching Field in DeLand, Fla.
