MACON, Ga. – The Mercer baseball team was listed in the Perfect Game Top Recruiting Classes of 2007. The Bears were the only Atlantic Sun team to make the list, and joined Georgia and Georgia Tech as the only in-state squads to receive the nod.

Rounding out the 2007 recruiting class is Tyler Beesley, a 6-foot-7 right-handed pitcher from Chickamauga, Ga., Nick Adams, a middle infielder from Winter Park, Fla., Justice French, a versatile player from Suwanee, Ga., John Hoelzer, a right-handed pitcher transferring from Palm Beach Community College, Jason Butts, a defensive guru from Marietta, Ga. and Hunter McGilvray, a right-handed pitcher from Cumming, Ga.
