Wednesday, March 21, 2007 Jacksonville, Fla. - The Jacksonville Dolphins will be the fourth Atlantic Sun team to face a number one ranked squad this season. Top ranked Florida State travels to Jacksonville today to take on the Dolphins at 6 p.m. Lipscomb lost to #1 Vanderbilt 16-7, Belmont lost to #1 Vanderbilt 15-7, Gardner-Webb lost to #1 North Carolina 4-2. Today, Jacksonville will attempt to earn the A-Sun's first win vs the nation's top-ranked team. North Florida played Florida state on Feb. 27 when the Seminoles were ranked second in the nation. The Ospreys were defeated 16-2. The Dolphins are coming off a 6-2 victory yesterday over Bethune-Cookman and will host Kennesaw State this weekend for a three-game set. |
