Tuesday, March 27, 2007 Lubbock, Texas - C.J. Lee exploded out of an early season slump, hitting .632 (12-19), with a double, two home runs, three RBI and a 1.000 slugging percentage while leading the Bucs to a 3-1 record for the week. The senior hit both home runs in the Bucs' series victory over North Florida, helping power the opening game victory, 5-0, with a third inning two-run homer. His fourth inning solo shot in the series finale started the Bucs' seven-run rally from a three-run deficit, en route to an, 8-4, series clinching win. On the season the Bristol, Va. native is hitting .337 with a team-leading 10 doubles, three home runs and seven RBI. The CBF will release a regular National Honor Roll, Feb 13th-May 22nd, saluting the finest performances of the past week's action. |
