In a year that has produced a slew of new MLB stars, former Stetson Hatter Chris Johnson, now of the Houston Astros, earned a spot on Yahoo's All-Rookie Team.

Johnson, who enters the final weekend of play hitting .312 with 11 home runs and 51 RBI, took the third base spot. The Marlins' Gaby Sanchez (first base), the Pirates' Neil Walker (second base) and the Cubs' Starlin Castro (short stop) round out the infield.

Former FGCU All-American Chris Sale earned Honorable Mention recognition. A 2010 first-round pick, Sale shot up the White Sox system and has recorded a 2-1 record with a 1.27 ERA. He has three saves and has stuck out 28 in 21.1 innings.
