Stetson Checks in at No. 25 in Two National Polls

DeLAND, Fla. - Stetson held onto a top-25 ranking in this week's Baseball America and Perfect Game polls. ETSU, Mercer and Kennesaw State all received votes in various polls.

Stetson has appeared in one of the five major national polls for five consecutive weeks. The Hatters improved to 9-3 in Atlantic Sun play by taking two of three at USC Upstate.

The Hatters received votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and USA TODAY/ESPN Top 25 coaches' baseball polls. ETSU, Kennesaw State and Mercer also received votes in the NCBWA poll while the Bears joined the Hatters among those schools receiving votes from the coaches.

The Hatters and Owls meet with first place on the line in DeLand beginning Friday evening. The Owls trail by a half-game at 8-3. Stetson owns a 16-3 home record this season, the best in the conference.
