Eight From A-Sun Baseball Named Academic All-District

MACON, Ga. - Eight Atlantic Sun baseball student-athletes earned Capital One Academic All-District honors - setting the A-Sun as the third-most represented conference in the nation.

While posting eight Academic All-District honorees, six earned a selection to the First Team. ETSU's Paul Hoilman, Campbell's Josh Holskey, Belmont's Judah Akers, Jacksonville's Dan Gulbransen, Kennesaw State's Ronnie Freeman and Mercer's Billy Burns all landed on the first team. Only the Big 12, with seven First-Team choices, topped the Atlantic Sun.

Mercer's Jacob Tanis and Jacksonville's Jonathan Murphy made the Second Team.
