MACON, Ga. – North Florida's T.J. Gavlik and Belmont's Matt Hamann picked up the Atlantic Sun Conference Baseball weekly honors, announced Monday by the league office. Gavlik guided the Ospreys to a 3-1 week which included a win vs. No. 1 Florida and a road series win against ETSU, while Hamann hurled a complete game one-hit shutout against USC Upstate on Friday.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
T.J. Gavlik, North Florida (SS – Sr. – Hong Kong, China – Sport Management)

• First Career A-Sun Player of the Week award
• Recorded a career-high three RBI in win vs. No. 1 Florida
• Hit safely in all four games this week en route to .500 average
• Notched two doubles and a triple to drive in four runs for UNF
• Crossed the plate five times to guide Ospreys to 3-1 week

• Drew Turner (OF, Belmont) - Went 8-for-13 in Belmont's 4-0 week with five runs scored
• Ben Carhart (3B, Stetson) - Led Hatters to 3-1 week with team-leading .471 average and four RBI
• Adam Brett Walker II (1B/OF, Jacksonville) - Belted two home runs with seven RBI in four games

• Third Career A-Sun Pitcher of the Week; first this season
• Hurled a one-hit complete game shutout on Friday vs. USC Upstate
• Struck out four batters, while walking none against the Spartans
• Retired 21 straight batters after first batter reached on an error
• Helped Bruins to a 10-2 start in A-Sun play - good for first place

• Harrison Cooney (RHP, FGCU) - Earned the victory vs. No. 2 Florida State with four shutout innings
• Josh Cotham (SP, Lipscomb) - Tossed 6.1 innings to earn victory vs. Kennesaw State while allowing only one run
• Chandler Jagodzinski (P, North Florida) - Recorded a win vs. No. 1 Florida and a save against ETSU; allowed only three hits
• John Long (RHP, ETSU) - Collected fifth victory of the season with seven shutout innings vs. North Florida
• Austin Perez (SP, Stetson) - Took a no-hitter in the sixth inning at South Florida; earned victory vs. Bulls
