Mazeika, Olmstead Continue to Earn National Honors

DURHAM, N.C. - Stetson's Patrick Mazeika and North Florida's Corbin Olmstead landed on their third Freshman All-American Team as Baseball America announced their squad on Monday morning.

Mazeika, the A-Sun Freshman of the Year, was tabbed first team as a first baseman, while Olmstead earned second team honors as a utility player. Olmstead and Mazeika were previously named to the Louisville Slugger and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Freshman All-American teams.

Baseball America Freshman All-America:
– Corbin Olmstead, North Florida (Utility): Hit .307 with seven extra-base hits; finished season with six saves, 2.81 ERA
– Patrick Mazeika, Stetson (1B): Finished second in the conference for batting average (.382); first in on-base (.488)
