DeLand, Fla. - Day One of the 2007 Atlantic Sun Baseball Championship presented by Progress Energy is complete. In the final game of the day, the top-seeded Stetson Hatters rallied in the eighth inning to beat the No. 6 seed Lipscomb Bisons 4-3.
The No. 2 seed Mercer Bears opened up the tournament with a 5-4 victory over the No. 5 seed Gardner-Webb Bulldogs. .
The No. 3 seed Belmont Bruins outslugged the No. 4 Jacksonville Dolphins by a score of 12-7 in the day's second game
Gardner-Webb will play the Lipscomb at 11 a.m. Thursday. Stetson will play Jacksonville at 3 p.m. Mercer and Belmont will play Thursday at 7 p.m.
