DeLand, Fla. - Day two of the 2007 A-Sun Championship presented by Progress Energy is complete. Belmont beat Mercer in ten innings 4-3 to remain undefeated after two days of play. The No. 1 seed Stetson Hatters lost to the No. 4 seed Jacksonville 4-1 in the second game of the day. Jacksonville will play Gardner-Webb and Stetson will take on the loser of Belmont and Mercer.
The first game of the day was an elimination game between the No. 5 seed Gardner-Webb Bulldogs and the No. 6 seed Lipscomb Bisons. GWU beat the Bisons 4-1 to stay alive in the tournament. Lipscomb is eliminated.
