DeLand, Fla. - Day Three is underway at the 2007 Atlantic Sun Baseball Championship presented by Progress Energy. Two teams are still alive in their quest for an NCAA automatic bid after No. 3 seed Belmont eliminated No. 1 seed Stetson
Belmont jumped on the Hatters early and never looked back on their way to an 18-5 win.
Belmont will take on No. 4 seed Jacksonville for the Atlantic Sun Championship at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Jacksonville must win two games to take the automatic bid. Belmont only needs one more win.
The first game of the day saw top-seed Stetson dismiss the Mercer Bears from the 2007 tournament. Jacksonville then shut out the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs to earn a spot in the title match up.
