Friday, December 02, 2005 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Atlantic Sun Conference "Game of the Week" lived up to its billing on Friday night with Jesse Kimbrough stealing the show and giving JU head coach Cliff Warren his first career win. In front of a Swisher Gymnasium record crowd of 1,548, the Jacksonville men's basketball team opened it's A-Sun schedule with an 88-71 win over rival North Florida on Friday night under the lights of a regional telecast on Comcast Sports Southeast. For the more than 200 students and other fans that were turned away at the door, they missed Kimbrough scoring a career-high 25 points and pulling down a career-high 10 rebounds while dishing out seven assists. |
