MACON, Ga.- Six meetings with four opponents who reached the postseason in 2005-06 and non-conference contests at Wisconsin, Oregon and Oregon State, along with home games against Charleston Southern and traditional in-state rival Georgia Southern, highlight Mercer's 2006-07 men's basketball schedule as released by head coach Mark Slonaker on Wednesday.

"We have completed what we consider a very challenging and demanding schedule," said Slonaker. "We have more home games this season (14) than last year and I believe we have achieved a good balance of in-state rivalries and non-conference games. Hopefully with six straight home games early in the season our newcomers will gain some confidence and we can build our team chemistry early."
