Thursday, November 30, 2006 NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Brian Fisk scored 27 points and Lipscomb survived a cold second-half to beat Jacksonville 73-61 in the A-Sun Game of the Week. Lipscomb (5-2, 1-0 Atlantic Sun) shot just 32.1 percent in the second half, but hit 19-of-26 free throws during the game to help. Trey Williams added 18 points for Lipscomb and Eddie Ard had 12 and a game-high 10 rebounds. Jacksonville (3-4, 0-1), which trailed 40-33 at the half, was led by Lehmon Colbert with 15 points and Marcus Allen with 11. Lipscomb hit 41.8 percent for the game while the Dolphins hit 43.4 percent. Jacksonville made just 11-of-24 free throws. |
