LITTLE ROCK, ARK. - Led by the play of guards Justin Hare and Andy Wicke, Belmont defeated UALR Wednesday night, 72-57, to give longtime Head Coach Rick Byrd his 500th career victory in the A-Sun Game of the Week..

Hare had a game-high 20 points on 6-for-7 shooting, while Wicke added a season-high 18 points.

Belmont (7-2) shot 51 percent from the field to hand the preseason Sun Belt West Division favorites only the second non-conference loss for the Trojans at Jack Stephens Arena.
