Macon, Ga. -- The fouth installment of the Suntrust River City Rumble
kicks off Tuesday as UNF hosts Jacksonville in one of two A-Sun/CSS games this
week. Tonight's matchup is scheduled for a 7:00 pm tip-off. Matt Stewart will
provide play-by-play and Sonny Smith will give expert color analysis.
Jacksonville, looking to snap a 23-game losing streak on the road, will rely
on leading scorer Jesse Kimbrough and Marcus Allen to lead the charge. The Dolphins'
bench has also been an important factor, scoring at least 20 points in the last
five games.
Last year’s UNF-JU matchup at UNF Arena led to a record crowd, with 3,031 fans
turning out to watch the Ospreys upend the Dolphins 90-78. UNF has lost two
straight games to open 2007, while JU has won two straight after dropping six
of seven games to end 2006.
