Using a business-like approach, the JU men’s basketball team finished off a sweep of the SunTrust River City Rumble with a 73-61 win over UNF at the UNF Arena on Friday night in the Atlantic Sun Conference “Game of the Week.”

Lehmon Colbert scored a season-high 22 points with 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season, leading three Dolphins (12-8, 8-3 A-Sun) in double figures as JU won its ninth straight game – tying the longest winning streak in the Cliff Warren era.

JU’s defense shined throughout the night, limiting the Ospreys (10-12, 5-7 A-Sun) to just 18 field goals with a 12-rebound advantage while forcing 16 turnovers that turned into 15 points.

“We were very business-like in our preparation and how we played the game,” said Warren. “We did a good job on defense and got up the floor in transition, which got us some good looks.”

JU controlled the second half, slowly and methodically pushing the lead through the final 20 minutes.
