Monday, February 22, 2010 MACON, Ga. – On Monday, the Atlantic Sun announced its final CSS broadcast will feature Mercer and Lipscomb from the Bisons’ Allen Arena. Game time, originally set for 4:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, will move to 5:00 p.m. CT. The contest between the Bears and Bisons offers a final chance for several players to make their case for the Player of the Year award and for spots on the All-Atlantic Sun team. Lipscomb’s tandem of Josh Slater and Adnan Hodzic face Mercer’s dynamic seniors James Florence and Daniel Emerson. All four rank in the top seven in scoring. Florence, the school’s all-time leading scorer, ranks third in scoring and in assists. Emerson leads in rebounding and enters the week needing 24 boards to set an A-Sun single season record. Hodzic ranks fourth in rebounding and second in field goal percentage and Slater joins three other players in the country averaging 15 points, five rebounds and five assists per game. CSS will provide coverage for the men’s and women’s semifinal contests of next week’s General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Championships, as well as the women’s final on Saturday.
