Conference Unbeatens Meet as Bruins host Dolphins

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An early-season battle for the top Atlantic Sun men's basketball standings takes place tonight from Belmont's Curb Event Center when the Bruins host Jacksonville at 7:15 p.m. CT

Tonight's showdown represents the 18th meeting in the all-time series, with Belmont holding an 11-6 edge. Jacksonville has won three of the last four meetings. The Dolphins will attempt to become only the fourth team to win at Belmont and at Lipscomb in the same year. No school has done it since ETSU in January of 2007.

Belmont has utilized a deep and talented bench from the outset, and it has reaped major dividends. The Bruins have 10 players averaging double figure minutes, with an 11th player (Blake Jenkins) averaging 9.5 minutes per game. The Bruin bench ranks third in the country, scoring 43.5 points per game,
