ETSU's Smith Named Honorable Mention All-American

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Atlantic Sun Player of the Year Mike Smith added AP All-American to his list of 2010-11 accomplishments, joining an exclusive list of ETSU Buccaneers named to the prestigious team.

Smith, led the Bucs in scoring (17.9 ppg) and is second on the team in rebounding (6.8 rpg). He has scored 626 points this season, ranking sixth on the all-time single season list, while also netting 1,783 career points, which ranks seventh all-time at ETSU.

Smith becomes the fifth Buccaneer named an AP All-American. Mister Jennings made the Second Team in 1991. Zakee Wadood in 2004, Tim Smith in 2006 and Courtney Pigram all made the Honorable Mention list.
