Notes:
• ETSU's trip to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament Semifinials was the furthest an A-Sun team has progressed in postseason play since 1987. The Bucs defeated Furman and Ohio before falling to Iona.
• The Bucs lost their top three scorers from last season including the A-Sun Player of the Year Mike Smith (17.9), Micah Williams (14.1) and Justin Tubbs (10.5). However, ETSU welcomes back from injury Tommy Hubbard, who led the team in scoring in 2010 with 13.9 points, while also pulling down 8.2 rebounds.
• Since joining the A-Sun, ETSU has posted double-digit conference win totals in each season of play. On two occasions, the Bucs have reached 16 league wins in a season (2007, 10). During that span, ETSU has captured one regular-season title and two A-Sun Championship crowns.
• ETSU faces three BCS-level opponents this season with the season opener at Virginia Tech and two more road games at Tennessee and Clemson. Last season, the Bucs defeated Mississippi State on the road, which was one of six wins against BCS Conference opponents for the A-Sun.
