Monday, November 21, 2011 NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's basketball is among those receiving votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for the week of Nov. 21. The Bruins, who claimed the EA Sports Maui Invitational Regional Tournament Championship Sunday and earned a program-record 21 votes in the Nov. 14 AP Top 25 poll, received six votes in this week's poll. Belmont has received top 25 votes each of the first three weeks this season, and in 12 of the last 13 Associated Press Top 25 polls. Three of the Bruins' first four opponents earned Top 25 votes this week: No. 6 Duke, No. 8 Memphis, and Middle Tennessee State (also receiving votes). The Bruins also landed at No. 5 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll - the third-straight week Belmont ranked in the top-five. ETSU also recevied votes in the poll after two-straight victories.
