Belmont's Clark Reaches 1,000 Career Point Plateau

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - With his three pointer at the 15:25 mark of the second half, Belmont's Ian Clark became the 136th Atlantic Sun student-athlete to reach the mark. Clark finish the 78-55 victory against Troy with 14 points to push him to 1,0006 career points, which ranks 134th in A-Sun history.

He also became just the 10th Bruin of the NCAA era to score 1,000 career points. Clark, who reached the milestone in his 76th career game, is the second-fastest to 1,000 points in the NCAA era. Wes Burtner reached 1,000 career points in his 65th career game.

Clark trails only Kennesaw State's Markeith Cummings for career points amongst active players. Cummings has 1,267 career points.
