KSU's Dixon Becomes Third Active A-Sun Player to 1,000 Points

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Spencer Dixon reached the 1,000 career point milestone on Saturday afternoon in a road contest against Missouri State to become the 14th men's basketball student-athlete in Kennesaw State history to reach the mark.

Dixon, a senior guard, registered 17 points in the contest to join teammate Markeith Cummings as one of three active A-Sun student-athletes to reach the milestone. Belmont's Ian Clark reached the mark earlier in the week agaisnt Troy. Cummings added 24 points in the contests to push his career total to 1,291 points, which ranks him 54th-best in A-Sun history.

Dixon is the 137th student-athlete in A-Sun history to reach the 1,000 point plateau. His 1,016 career points ranks 129th in the A-Sun record books.
