Bruins Climb Two Spots in CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Belmont moved up to No. 17 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll for the week of Jan. 2. The Bruins climbed up two spots from their 19th-place ranking last week.

The Bruins defeated Marshall, 79-47, in the Curb Event Center on Dec. 29th to push its home-winning streak to 22 games, which ranks as the eighth-longest in the nation.

Belmont has been ranked in the top-20 in each of the Mid-Major Top 25 polls this season.

Murray State received 26 of 31 first-place votes to top the poll this week.
