DELALND, Fla. – Behind a season-high 24 points from freshman Brett Comer (Winter Park, Fla./Winter Park HS) and four other players in double figures, the FGCU men’s basketball team came away with a 92-85 win at Stetson in the Atlantic Sun/CSS Friday Night Game of the Week at the Edmunds Center in front of 2,175 fans.

Comer scored 12 points in each half en route to the highest scoring effort by an Eagle this season, as the Green and Blue picked up their fourth consecutive win over the Hatters. FGCU (9-10) improved to 5-4 in the A-Sun with the win, moving a game ahead of Stetson (4-5).
