MACON, Ga. – The Atlantic Sun Conference is searching the world of social media for its fans who shine the brightest, utilizing its new media outlets to build excitement for men’s and women’s basketball during the second half of conference play and into the 2012 General Shale Brick Basketball Championship.

The Atlantic Sun “Basketball Fandemonium” will run from January 28 through February 11, and provide A-Sun fans opportunities to participate and win. Fans will receive prompts to participate on Twitter (@Atlantic Sun) and Facebook (Atlantic Sun Conference). Clues will range from retweeting messages and answering trivia questions in the “Tweet4Tix” contest to posting and tagging photos at A-Sun basketball games for various prizes.

By participating, fans will also be registering to win the grand prize – two complete ticket booklets to the 2012 General Shale Atlantic Sun Basketball Championship, February 29 – March 3, at the University Center on the campus of Mercer University. Multiple entries will be accepted increasing chances to win the grand prize package. The winner will be selected through a blind draw on Monday, February 13, 2012.

Ways to Enter the Grand Prize Drawing:
1.) Tag the Atlantic Sun Conference on Facebook in a photo of yourself at an Atlantic Sun Basketball game
2.) Correctly answer trivia questions on Twitter in the #Tweet4Tix contest
