Thursday, November 29, 2012 MACON, Ga. – The Atlantic Sun Conference has an additional distribution partner for basketball, as Cox Sports Television will distribute a total of 13 A-Sun games in 2013, the conference office announced Thursday. The agreement means the conference continues to expand its basketball coverage, as a total of 10 A-Sun men’s basketball and three women’s games will be distributed via Cox Sports Television (CST) beginning January 11. CST will provide additional coverage of A-Sun men’s basketball that is highlighted by the A-Sun/CSS Friday Night Game of the Week, while the women’s action features the A-Sun Championship Semifinals and Final. Pairing the potential distribution of two million homes that Cox provides along with the more than five million of CSS provides a significant increase that will help continue to grow the A-Sun brand. “This partnership brings another two million homes in distribution for the A-Sun Friday Game of the Week,” stated A-Sun Commissioner Ted Gumbart. “As we spotlight the outstanding student-athletes and institutions that compete in the A-Sun, we are extremely proud to announce this agreement with Cox Sports Television. The A-Sun continues to distinguish itself as a strong and growing conference and this additional TV coverage is another step in promoting ourselves to the broadest audience possible.” The schedule of distribution on CST is as follows:
