Saturday, January 05, 2013 MACON, Ga. – FGCU, North Florida, USC Upstate, Lipscomb and Kennesaw State all earned conference wins on Saturday with the Owls earning the first conference win under head coach Lewis Preston. The Eagles registered its eight-straight win at Alico Arena this season with a 78-55 victory vs. Jacksonville behind Bernard Thompson's 18 points. North Florida's victory was highlighted by Parker Smith's 33 points on nine three-point field goals and his teammate Will Wilson dishing out 12 assists.
