Friday, January 18, 2013 MACON, Ga. - North Florida hosts crosstown rival Jacksonville in the A-Sun/CSS Friday night contest at 7 PM. Both teams sit above .500 in conference play through six games. UNF held the Dolphins to 64 points or less in each win. • Jacksonville’s Glenn Powell leads the A-Sun in career rebounds with 617. He also ranks third this season with 7.5 RPG. He needs 86 more rebounds to crack the A-Sun record books for career boards. • North Florida’s Parker Smith has hit 262 three pointers at North Florida, which is 8th most in A-Sun history. Smith needs 15 more three pointers to take over sixth place. He is averaging 4.0 threes made per game - the best average in A-Sun history. • Glenn Powell has 119 blocks in his career, which is tied for 21st in A-Sun history. • North Florida owns the top-scoring duo in the A-Sun with Parker Smith (16.6) and Travis Wallace (15.2) combining to average 31.8 PPG. • JU's Russell Powell needs four assists vs. UNF to pass Mercer's Langston Hall for most assists among active A-Sun players. Powell currently has 331. • UNF's Will Wilson leads the A-Sun in assists with 6.6 per game. His four double-digit assists games this season leads the A-Sun. • Jacksonville has already surpassed last year's win total of eight games. • Parker Smith currently ranks 87th on the A-Sun all-time scoring list with 1,190 points.
