Friday, February 08, 2013 NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Led by Deonte Alexander's 22 points, Lipscomb halted Northern Kentucky's four-game winning streak with a 76-58 Bisons victory in Allen Arena. NKU's Eshaunte Jones led the Norse with 15 points. With the win, Lipscomb moved to 9-14 overall and 4-8 in league play, while NKU dropped to 8-12 overall and 6-6 in A-Sun play. LU's Malcolm and Martin Smith each contributed 11 points, while freshman center Stephen Hurt pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds and finished one point short of a double-double. The Bisons connected on 11 three pointers in the triumph on 21 attempts for a 52.4 percent from behind the arc - the best for Lipscomb this season.
