MACON, Ga. – USC Upstate defeated Kennesaw State 79-67 to secure its spot in the 2013 General Shale Atlantic Sun Men's Basketball Championship. With the Spartans victory, ETSU also clinched a spot in the tournament.

Lipcomb's Martin Smith collected 30 points to lead the Bisons to an 84-74 win vs. FGCU. Smith's 30 point performance marked a career-high.
