Wallace, Thomas & Pegg Share #ASunMBB Weekly Spotlight

MACON, Ga. - North Florida's Travis Wallace and Mercer's Bud Thomas split the Player of the Week honors following record-breaking performances, while Stetson's Brian Pegg picked up his first Atlantic Sun Men's Basketball Newcomer of the Week award.

Wallace posted a huge double-double in the Ospreys' River City Rumble victory with 27 points and 19 rebounds. His 19 boards set the UNF Division I program record and is tied for the most in the A-Sun this season. Thomas was on fire third week from behind-the-arc hitting nine three pointers at Lipscomb to set the Mercer single-game program record. He averaged 23.5 PPG and hit 12 three pointers in two contests.

Pegg propelled the Hatters to a duo of conference victories on the week as he averaged 10.5 PPG and 9.5 RPG against ETSU and USC Upstate. He added six assists and three steals on the week.

• For the week, Thomas shot 16-of-27 including 12-of-21 from three-point range
• Mercer remained in tied for first place in A-Sun at 6-1 with FGCU
