ETSU Hosts Kennesaw in A-Sun/CSS Game of the Week
Date Posted: 1/18/2007 Macon, Ga. -- Kennesaw State and ETSU renew a budding rivalry in the
CSS/A-Sun Game of the Week on Friday night. In their first year as conference
rivals, the teams split a pair of hotly contested games last season. Tip-off
is slated for 7:30 pm. Matt Stewart and Sonny Smith will be on hand to give
play-by-play and color analysis for the regionally televised game. Winners of their last three outings, the Owls have a potentially electrifying offense led by forward Shuan Stegall and his 16.6 points per game. Stegall delivered a double-double and Ronell Wooten scored a game-high 17 points to lead Kennesaw State to a 77-57 drubbing of North Florida last Monday.
