Monday, April 10, 2006 Nashville, Tenn. -- Former Belmont cross country runner Adam Bishop placed 48th at the recent 2006 World University Cross Country Championship held last month in Algiers, Algeria. Adam posted a time of 30:46 and was the third highest Australian to finish the race. Bishop, who graduated in December from Belmont with a Master’s degree in Sports Administration, was a vital component on BU’s 2005 Atlantic Sun Conference Cross Country Championship team. He had three top-20 finishes, including a second place finish at the A-Sun Championship. In addition, he earned first team All-Conference honors. |
