MACON, Ga. – At the KSU Owl Invitational Friday afternoon, freshman Nabil Hamid led the Owls with a second-place finish in wet conditions, earning him his first career Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

Hamid secured second place in the KSU Owl Invitational at Noonday Park in Kennesaw, Ga. The native of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, finished the 5K course in 16:07.21 in rainy and muddy conditions, his best finish of the season to go with his previous third-place and two fourth-place finishes.
