MACON, Ga. – Belmont's Matt Miller won his first career Atlantic Sun Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week award after finishing eighth at the Commodore Classic with a time of 25:31.50.

Matt Miller, Belmont (Jr. – LaPorte, Ind. – History)
- First Career Runner of the Week award; first for Belmont since Oct. 22, 2008
- Placed eighth at Commodore Classic out of 190 runners
- Recorded a time of 25:31.50 in the 8K race
OTHER NOMINEES:
- Christian Ritacco (Jr., USC Upstate) - Posted a career-best time of 25:33.55 at the Clemson Invitational 8K
- Nabil Hamid (Jr., Kennesaw State) - Won the Georgia State Invitational in 25:39
- Sony Prosper (So., Mercer) - Finished second in a time of 25:36.22 at the RunFit Sports Invitational
