Kemboi & Hamid Close Decorated Careers at Nationals

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Two of the most highly decorated runners in A-Sun Cross Country history closed out their careers at the NCAA Championship with conference champion Gilbert Kemboi impressing with a top-50 finish and Nabil Hamid making his second straight finals appearance.

Kemboi placed 42nd overall with a time of 30:06.9 while Hamid finished 147th in a time of 31:05.0. A total of 245 student-athletes competed at the championship.

Kennedy Kithuka of Texas Tech claimed the individual title in a time of 28:31.3 and Oklahoma State cruised to the team title with all five runners finishing in the top-55.
