Buccaneers Hold Onto Top-Spot in #ASunXC Men's Poll

MACON, Ga. - ETSU held on to its first-place rank in the second installment of the Atlantic Sun Men's Cross Country Coaches Poll as announced by the conference on Thursday.

The Buccaneers landed three first-place votes to push them to the top after receiving a boost in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Regional Poll from No. 11 to No. 10 in the South Region.

Lipscomb is gaining ground on the Bucs with 89 points to come in second-place. The Bisons secured six first-place votes in the coaches poll but it was not enough to pull ahead.

LU is the only other A-Sun men's squad in the USTFCCCA Regional Poll at No. 6 in the South Region.

North Florida landed in the third-place spot in the coaches poll with 72 points.

USC Upstate garnered a first-place vote to tie for fourth with FGCU to round off the top-five teams in the conference.
