Macon, Ga. - For the second time this season, Campbell junior Jeremy Helf (Alliston,
ONT/Athletic Training) was named Atlantic Sun Runner of the Week today by the
conference office.
Last Saturday, Helf finished in a personal best 25:22.90 in the 8K Men's Collegiate Division
at the Great American Cross Country race in Cary, N.C. His time was
good enough for an 18th place finish and was the seventh fastest time ever recorded
in an 8K cross country race by a Campbell harrier. Helf's mark is also the fastest
in the league right now.
The Fighting Camels' next meet will be in Greenville, S.C. at the Furman Invitational
on October 8.
Campbell hosts the 2005 Atlantic Sun Cross Country Championships
on Oct. 29.
