Campbell Claims Day One Lead at Charleston Southern Invitational

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Fredric Sundberg leads four Camel golfers from the top 17 individuals after two rounds Monday of the Charleston Southern Spring Kick Off men’s golf tournament.
Sundberg carded a one-under 141 (69-72) on the par-71, 6579-yard Coosaw Creek Country Club layout to stand one stroke behind individual leader Duncan Stewart of Jacksonville heading into Tuesday’s final round.
Campbell senior Matt McIntyre is tied for fourth at one-over 143, while Mark Coppell and Mike Perry are tied for 16th at plus-six 148. Johan Rydheim is tied for 25th place at 151.
Campbell leads Radford and Jacksonville in the team standings by two strokes heading into the final 18 holes.
