ETSU's Findlay Claims February Golfer of the Month

Macon, Ga. – ETSU’s Jordan Findlay received the first A-Sun Golfer of the Month award for the spring season.
Findlay fired a career-best 70 in back-to-back rounds at the Puerto Rico Classic to help him secure the first top-5 finish of his career. The freshman finished tied for fifth overall, the best showing by a Buccaneer. ETSU finished fifth in the extremely strong field that featured 14 ranked teams. For the month, Findlay finished with a 70.67 stroke average. The Buccaneers climbed to No. 11 in the most current national rankings. The Fraserburgh, Scotland native has yet to determine a major.
The Atlantic Sun Conference hands out Golfer of the Month awards during the first full week of every month during the 2005-06 campaign.
The 11-member league headquartered in Macon, Ga., consists of Belmont, Campbell, ETSU, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Mercer, North Florida and Stetson.
