MACON, Ga. - ETSU's sensational junior Rhys Davies earned his fourth A-Sun Golfer of the Month honor.

Davies moved to a national rank of No. 5 in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin ranking while being named a semifinalist for the Ben Hogan Award, college golf's top individual award. The Bridgen, Wales native finished the month of March with a stroke average of 71.6. Davies posted three Top-6 finishes in extremely tough fields, including his best performance at the General Hackler Invitational, where he placed second with a 5-under 211. The Bucs faced a total of 18 top-40 teams in three tournaments during March. The junior is majoring in Sports Management.

Davies will now turn his eyes on the A-Sun Championships. The men hit the links in two weeks, April 17-19, at Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club to determine the league champion and representative in the NCAA Regionals.
