Winds Settle For Second Round Action at Sanctuary Cove

Waverly, Ga. – The second round of the 2007 Atlantic Sun Men's Golf Championship has begun at The Golf Club at Sanctuary Cove in Wavery, Ga. Action began at 7:30 a.m. when Mercer's Ryan Blackburn and Lipscomb's Dustin Lynch took to the course.

The final group of the round is set to exit the first tee shortly after 10:40 a.m. The group consists of Jeff Dennis (UNF), Gareth Shaw (ETSU), and Russell Knox (JU). Dennis and Shaw are currently tied at 73 (+2), along with ETSU's Seamus Power, atop the leaderboard. Power tees off in the 10:30 grouping.

Entering the second day, North Florida holds a five-stroke lead over ETSU, and an eight-stroke lead over Jacksonville, the defending conference champions.

As the round began, temperatures were in the mid-50s and expected to reach the upper-70s. Unlike the first round, high winds are not expected during second round action.
