Courtesy UNFOspreys.com Wednesday, April 07, 2010 MACON, Ga. – In the lead up to the Atlantic Sun Men’s Golf Championships, UNF’s Kevin Phelan carded three top 10 finishes to earn the Golfer of the Month award for March, the conference office announced Wednesday. Phelan recorded six rounds out of nine shooting par or better, including a low 66 in the second round of the Schenkel E-Z-GO. The business management major from St. Augustine, Fla. turned in three top-10 finishes during the month, including two fourth-place ties. The Ospreys, who have maintained a top-25 team ranking throughout the spring, recorded three top-five finishes in March. They took third out of 25 at the USF Invite, fourth at the Rio Pinar in a field of 18 and a runner-up showing at the Schenkel E-Z-Go. Already in April, the Ospreys have continued their strong play, winning the BancorpSouth Intercollegiate on Tuesday. Phelan turned in another top-10 showing, finishing ninth.
