MACON, Ga. – Kennesaw State’s Jeff Karlsson played the final two rounds of the Irish Creek Intercollegiate at eight-under-par to finish second in the tournament ahead of seven golfers ranked in the Golfstat Top-100 and earn him the Atlantic Sun Conference Golfer of the Week award.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK:
Jeff Karlsson, Kennesaw State (Junior – Gothenburg, Sweden - International Business )
- Tied for second at Irish Creek Intercollegiate with a 209, -4
- Played the final two rounds at 8-under with six birdies and an eagle
- Finished ahead of seven student-athletes ranked in the Golfstat Top-100
- Helped Owls to a fifth-place finish and national ranking of 45

OTHER NOMINEES:
- Lucas Armstrong, ETSU: Tied for second at Wofford Invitational to guide Bucs to a first-place finish; carded a four-under 212
- Josh Cone, Mercer: Tied for 20th at Irish Creek Collegiate for his fifth top-20 finish of the season
