BRASELTON, Ga.- Kennesaw State remains the leader of the 2011 Atlantic Sun Men’s Golf Championship with a five-stroke lead after two rounds at the Chateau Course of Chateau Elan. The Owls’ Jeff Karlsson overcame a one-stroke deficit to begin the day to conclude as the individual medalist leader at (136, -6).

A trio of teams including KSU, UNF and Campbell posted one-under-par rounds of 283 as the Ospreys and Camels are tied for second, five-strokes behind the Owls at (563, -5).

The individual leaderboard remains close knit as six strokes separate the top-13 competitors. Karlsson sits only one-stroke atop Daniel Smith of Belmont (137, -5) and two strokes ahead Matt Moot of Campbell (138, -4) with a pair of individuals at three-under-par and two-under-par.

FGCU, the 2010 runner-up, shot the fourth round of par or better to sit seven back of the lead, while the Bruins second day 285 puts them 13 strokes back. The 2010 Champions ETSU is tied with USC Upstate at (579, +11).

The final round begins at 8 a.m. with a split tee time. Belmont, FGCU and ETSU will begin at hole one while Stetson and Lipscomb will start at hole 10.
