MACON, Ga. - The 2011 Atlantic Sun Men's Golf Champions, Kennesaw State and UNF both earned NCAA Region bids, while two Campbell individuals earned at-large invitations. Kennesaw State travels to the Florida Region as the No. 8 seed to play at the Golden Ocala Golf Club alongside host school Florida and defending champion Augusta State.

The Owls captured the A-Sun crown on April 20th at the Chateau Elan Course to earn the automatic bid to the regional round. Junior golfers Jeff Karlsson and Matt Nagy both earned all-conference honors with their top-five finishes, while Karlsson claimed the individual medalist honor.

UNF earned the No. 8 seed at the upcoming NCAA South Central Regional on May 19-21 in Erie, Colo., at the Colorado National Golf Club. UNF is currently No. 45 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings and No. 48 in the Golfstat standings. The South Central Regional features a very talented group of teams including No. 1 seeded and the nation's top-ranked team, Oklahoma State. No. 12/12 Georgia is the second seed followed by No. 3 seed Auburn (9/13), No. 4 seed Arizona State (31/24) and No. 5 seed Clemson (25/25).

Individually for the Ospreys, junior first-team All-Atlantic Sun performer Kevin Aylwin holds the No. 65 spot on the Golfstat standings and is No. 68 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, while sophomore teammate Kevin Phelan, also a first-team all-conference honoree, is listed 88th by Golfweek/Sagarin. This marks UNF's sixth NCAA regional appearance at the Division I level and second straight postseason trip after finishing 14th in last year's NCAA Championship.

Campbell's Matt Moot and Vaita Guillaume both received at-large individual invitations to the Virginia Tech Regional at the Pete Dye River Course in Radford, Va. Moot finished in a tie for second place at the A-Sun Championships at three-under par, while Guillaume landed on the second team all-conference squad alongside Moot.

The NCAA Golf Championship begins with an opening round of six regional sites and culminates with the top five finishing teams from each regional advancing to the championship event on May 31-June 5 in Stillwater, Okla.
