Macon, Ga. - The Golf Coaches Association of America announced the PING Division
I All-Region Teams on Wednesday with four A-Sun golfer earning honors. Jacksonville's
Russel Knox was named to the All-Southeast team while ETSU's Rhys Davies, Seamus
Power, and Gareth Shaw all earned All-South team accolades.
The Ping All-Region teams consist of the top 15 individuals in their region
in the Individual Ranking System. Additionally, any player ranked nationally
in the top 75 according to the Golfstat or the Sagarin ranking not included
in the regions top 15 are added to their All-Region team. Member of the PING
All-Region teams are automatically eligible for PING All-American honors, to
be announced following the NCAA Division I Championships.
